Reconnect

A Rule for Shared Days

Reconnect turns to the shared life, where faith is no longer lived in isolation but is formed and refined in relationship with others. Here, the spiritual life is shaped in the ordinary realities of conversation, conflict, forgiveness, and care. It is in these shared days that faith becomes visible, not as an idea, but as something lived between people.

Through the same rule of life—surrender, trust, deny, carry, yoke, abide, follow, love—Reconnect explores how each movement takes on relational meaning. Surrender becomes letting go of control in the presence of others. Carry becomes bearing one another’s burdens. Yoke becomes walking in step, not alone but together. These movements reveal that much of spiritual formation happens not in solitude, but in the friction and grace of community.

Reconnect invites the reader to see relationships as the place where faith is tested and deepened. It does not promise harmony or resolution, but something more enduring: the possibility of learning how to remain present, to forgive, and to love in the midst of imperfection. This is not a story of agreement, but of learning how to walk together.
